I'm Marcus Aarnseth, a 30-year-old creative from Oslo. I'm currently studying Industrial Design at the Oslo School of Architecture and Design, where I'm in my third year. It's been an interesting path to get here, to say the least.
Before diving into design, I completed a Bachelor's degree in Business Management and Economics from Queen Mary. University of London. This experience sharpened my analytical thinking and offered a different angle on design and strategy. I've also spent over a decade as a DJ and music producer, which has been a fun way to express my artistic side.
My shift to Product Design comes from a lifelong curiosity about creativity. Ever since I was young, I've loved the process of creating and making ideas come to life. This led me to woodworking, where I really get to focus on the small details.
I'm social and outgoing and enjoy working with others. I find it rewarding to collaborate and meet people from different walks of life, which has been great for group projects and networking in the design world.
As I seek to broaden my horizons through an exchange year abroad, I bring with me a diverse skill set, a unique blend of creativity and practicality, and an unquenchable thirst for learning and cultural exchange. I am eager to explore new perspectives in design, connect with fellow creatives, and contribute my skills and experiences in a new setting.
